Invitation to Explore - and Achieve

Picture
The Arc is a place for Parents. Whether you are concerned about the future for your child just born with an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD), or if you have a child who is emerging as a young adult in the community with evolving needs, The Arc can help.

The Arc is a place for Siblings. Siblings have a unique relationship with their brother or sister with an I/DD. The Arc's National Sibling Council provides networking and support opportunities for siblings of individuals with  disabilities. Your membership in The Arc allows you to be a member of the council and work with siblings across the country. Consider how you can be a part of a local Sibling Network at The Arc Yakima County. Invitation to find Opportunities

Picture
The Arc is a place for Self-Advocates. People with disabilities are the reason we work hard every day to create opportunities for your full inclusion in the community.

That means supporting you:
- to be healthy
- to have a quality education
- to live where you choose with the people you choose
- to work in a job that is important to you
- to have friends and a social life that make you happy and active
